Hey, I’m Autumn—speech-language pathologist, yoga teacher, mama, and founder of Blackbird Yoga.
Movement has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I danced from the age of two through college, and yoga first found me as a way to support my dance practice—keeping my body strong and my mind grounded during busy school years.
Later, I became a speech-language pathologist and spent years working with children and families across schools, clinics, and homes. I’ve always been passionate about connection—helping others feel seen, heard, and supported in ways that honor their nervous systems, their stories, and their strengths.
After becoming a mother, I returned to my mat. This time, yoga felt different. It wasn’t just a way to stretch or breathe—it was a way to come back to myself. Reconnecting with yoga in the postpartum season felt like coming home… and in many ways, a gentle kind of rebirth.
Blackbird Yoga was born from all of that—my love of movement, my work as an SLP, my lived experience as a mom, and my passion for making healing spaces accessible, inclusive, and affirming. Here, all bodies, all brains, and all stories are welcome.
Let’s move, rest, and grow—together.
